Admissions Requirements
Sidebar
The minimum requirement for admission is the baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution. Individuals with a bachelor's degree and a science background, DMD students and post-doctoral (DMD) students are all common applicants.
The Oral Biology program applicants should have attained an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) or higher during undergraduate education, and during graduate education (e.g., dental school), if applicable. For information about additional requirements, including test scores, letters of reference and personal statements, see pages 4 – 6 of the MSOB program guide.
International applicants whose degree is not from an institution in the United States must submit their academic credentials for a "Course-by-Course" evaluation by an external agency such as World Education Services (WES) or Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE). International applicants whose first language is not English must submit TOEFL scores showing a minimum total score of 100. See pages 4 – 6 of the MSOB program guide.
