Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
Four-year program that gives students the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience needed to attain licensure as a general dentist
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Dental Hygiene
Four-year program that allows students to learn in an environment that emphasizes their important place in the dental health team
Advanced Education Programs
General Practice Residency and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, as well as advanced education program in endodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics
Internships & Externships
Non-degree-terminating programs including an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery externship and internships in orthodontics and prosthodontics
Master of Science in Oral Biology (MSOB)
Available to students wishing to obtain solely the master's degree, students currently enrolled in the DMD program and people who have previously earned a DMD, MD or equivalent degree
Combined DMD/MSOB
Allows students to complete MS in Oral Biology classes and research within the 4 years of the DMD program without incurring additional tuition costs

Health Sciences Center Campus
The Health Sciences Center is located in downtown Louisville’s medical complex and is home to the schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry and Public Health and Information Sciences, along with University of Louisville Hospital and UofL Health – Jewish Hospital. The UofL Health enterprise includes eight hospitals, four medical centers, the Frazier Rehab Institute, Brown Cancer Center and nearly 200 physician practice locations.
