Dental Hygiene Alumni

Welcome, dental hygiene alumni!

For more than 20 years, the Dental Hygiene Legacy Alumni Council has helped to advocate for the UofL Dental Hygiene program and our profession. Accomplishments include:

  • Assisted with the establishment of an accredited four-year baccalaureate degree program
  • Established the Dental Hygiene Legacy Fund, a $50,000 endowed fund that awards two scholarships each year
  • Organized the Dental Hygiene Program’s 50th anniversary celebration in 2004 and the 60th anniversary celebration in 2014
  • Established the Woodward/Burch Floss Walk
The Dental Hygiene Legacy Alumni Council hosts several events, including the annual Woodward/Burch Floss Walk
