Dr. Uriarte invited to serve on NIH study section

Dr. Silvia Uriarte has been invited to serve as a Member of the Oral, Dental and Craniofacial Sciences Study Section (ODCS).
Nomination for membership in such an integrated review group represents a great honor and results from Dr. Uriarte's demonstrated achievements in her scientific discipline, quality of research publications and other scientific activities.
Faculty, staff, students, and postdoctoral fellows from the UofL School of Dentistry Department of Oral Immunology & Infectious Diseases are involved in cross-disciplinary projects to dissect the molecular and cellular basis of the interactions between oral bacteria and their host.
